![]() Downtown Greensboro on display in Augusta, GA Greensboro items displayed at State Welcome Center in Augusta. (March 6, 2015 - Greensboro, Ga.) Downtown Greensboro will be well represented in the State Welcome Center off Interstate 20 in Augusta, from now until the end of April. For two months the display will be available while nearly 100,000 people will visit the center. Beginning March of 2015, Downtown Greensboro decorated the six by eight foot box in the State Welcome Center off Interstate 20 in Augusta. The display will be available until the end of April and can be seen 7 days a week. Travelers visiting Augusta for Masters week will get a glimpse of what Greensboro has to offer. The box is decorated with history items from Greensboro. These items include Weymon Miller baskets, History of Greene County books, and information about Downtown Greensboro. The beautiful display will show off our city and help direct travelers to visit our rich history, wonderful shopping and dinning, and friendly faces.
