The Greensboro Downtown Development Authority has opened applications for our local emergency Micro-Loan program for utility assistance. We are accepting applications until April 30. These 0% interest loans can help with utility costs, and repayment does not begin until 12 months after the loan date.

Small Business Development Center:
The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, signed into law on March 27, 2020, allocates $349 billion to help small businesses keep workers employed amid the current circumstances they are encountering. The CARES Act provides funding for the Paycheck Protection Program, modifies the existing Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) program and provides immediate loan payment relief for current SBA 7(a) borrowers.
UGA Small Business Development Center offices across the state are open and available to assist small businesses impacted by current circumstances. Virtual consulting and online resources are available, please contact your local office to learn more.
